Event Settings modifies the display of the current planning calendar and sets default values used for filing events.

Time Period sets the time period for the values in the pop-up list for the start and end of an event and the display of the current planning calendar for a day and work week using a relevant time resolution.
Default period for a new event will pre-fill the default period between the beginning and end of a new event.
Event Reminder, Type and Attribute will pre-fill the default options in a new event.
Background colour for events found sets the background colour for events found.
Location sets the location filing mode. Selection:
- Locations works with a local set Locations
- From the current planning calendar always shows locations from all events filed in the current planning calendar
If Copy a new event to selected calendars is checked, the Copy to calendars button is displayed in a new event.

The settings may be saved with the Save and Apply button or closed without saving with the Cancel button, by clicking the top right corner cross, or by pressing the Alt-F4 key combination.
