Application Startup defines steps executed during application startup.
-
Application startup type chooses from two types of application startup:
-
Only manually stands for only manual application startup.
-
Manually and automatically when the computer starts stands for both manual application startup and automatic startup
when the computer is turned on. The Automatically run minimized checkbox, when checked, means that the application
will be launched automatically as minimized when the computer is turned on.
-
The Run the application in the Tray Bar checkbox, when checked, will show the application icon in the
Tray Bar where the application can subsequently be minimized. Application hidden in the Tray Bar
remains active and ready to call events with current reminders.
A hidden application can be shown again by clicking the Tray Bar application icon or right-clicking the
Tray Bar application icon and choosing the Show option from the context menu.
-
The Automatically check for updates checkbox, when checked, will search new application versions on the
application website upon the application launch. If new versions exist, a message will be displayed and the
application website may be displayed upon request.
The settings may be saved with the
Save and
Apply button or closed without saving
with the
Cancel button, by clicking the top right corner cross, or by pressing the
Alt-F4 key combination.
